Our first class
On Saturday we went to our first Foster to Adopt class. We had been prepared by our friends who have been through the program. They had warned us that a pretty picture wouldn't be painted, so I prepared myself. Apparently I had not prepared myself enough because I came out pretty deflated. I guess I was frustrated because you can't lump any one group of kids into a set stereotype and I kind of got that vibe. There are some great kids in the program and I think that sometimes people forget that Anthony and I talked for a while after the class and I talked to my girlfriend who just adopted. I felt re-energized afterward. I know there is a perfect kiddo for us and that it will all work out, all we need is a little bit of faith. Because otherwise this journey of ours is going to be way too long!

Jessie...so glad you were able to be re-energized! Praying for you all along this journey. God can do what some seem to think is impossible. I pray that He continues to give you comfort and encouragement during this time! God already has that perfect kiddo (or kiddos) planned for you. How amazing is that?! Hope you're enjoying your day off!
