My kiddos surprised me with this sweet homemade card this past week. I thought they were writing a thank-you note for a substitute that donated hermit crabs to our class. When I began a mini lesson after indoor recess the kids gave me the card and I set it to the side thinking it was the thank you note. They insisted I look at it. So sweet! There are days when I feel very unappreciated at work. This made me realize that the kids realize I work hard for them, and they are grateful. That is all that matters to me!
